Imagination and creativity abound in our classroom! As I reflect on the diverse children that I have been charged to "teach" I marvel at their vivid imagination and creativity. It is refreshing to take a step back from the rigor of our day and embrace the wonder, magic, and thoughts of a seven year old! My students love to create unique cards, books, wall hangings, and learning centers for our classroom and school halls. Occasionally when I bring in scrapbooking scraps for them to incorporate into their projects, they explode with excitement and can't wait to dig into the box of leftovers. I am always impressed with the projects they come up with and the great pride each student takes in his or her creation. Math and Language Arts concepts are naturally incorporated into passion filled projects! With the Cricut cutter and accessories as well as ink cartridges, my young designers will be able to quickly create a multitude of creations...like professionals! I spend each day with future doctors, teachers, parents, police officers, accountants...the list goes on! Perhaps a Graphic Designer or the President of the United States! What did you dream of being when you were in second grade? Please consider funding our proposal. You will be investing in the imagination and creativity of a young dreamer!
