Help me give my students healthy snacks to nourish their brains and feed their stomachs.

My students are referred to as "scholars" at our school. We place value on our students, and they can feel it from the moment they enter our school doors in the morning until the moment they leave in the afternoon. We take personal care of our scholars as we would like our own children to be cared for. We know the first names of our scholars. We know who their siblings are in the school. They feel our "caring" and know its genuine. Our scholars feel confident they can come to anyone of us if they need anything.
So when a 6th-grade scholar came crying to me last week that he didn't have money on his tab to buy lunch, I went and bought him lunch out of my own money.
His reply to me was "Can you be my friend nurse?" I replied, "Yes, I can." This is not the first lunch or breakfast I have purchased for a scholar. As a matter of fact, I buy breakfast for approximately 5-7 scholars a week and another 5 scholars a week who come to me with complaints of headaches or stomachaches. I feed them all.
These materials will make a difference in our scholars' learning ability in two ways. First and foremost, their blood sugar levels in their brains will be stabilized which will allow them to focus on the classwork being presented. They can be "present" in the classroom and ready to learn instead of fading out and heading to the nurse for something to eat please? Secondly, this will reduce the number of stomachache complaints I get on a daily basis. The first question I ask is "did you eat breakfast?" and it is then the inevitable "no" comes in reply.
I reach into my cupboard for my personal bought stash of breakfast bars and orange juice.
The scholars are comfortable enough with me already to know I won't judge why they did not get breakfast at home. Whether it is lack of funds, no parental oversight, overslept, didn't like what was given or whatever...
I just smile and hand them a bar and juice. Until the next scholar. And the next, and the next...
