Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"I teach general music to grades K-8 in a public school in Indiana. Every period begins the same way: a student leads a patriotic song, the school song, and a scale using solfege (do, re, mi). We follow the order of the seating chart so that every student gets a turn. By second semester, the students are truly the leaders and deserve the "Music Leader Award." I design new certificates yearly, print them on brightly colored card stock paper, write each name in calligraphy with a gold marker, and place a gold seal on the award. The students are proud to receive this award and can't wait until it's their turn to be the leader! It's amazing how a piece of paper can bring so much happiness to a child! I teach 500 students weekly, and by the end of the school year, each will have received this award. In order to make this possible for each student, I am requesting 500 sheets of card stock paper, gold seals, and gold markers to write their names in calligraphy. Please help fund my proposal so that this year my students can take home their own "Music Leader Award." Thank you! My project needs colored card stock paper, gold markers, and gold certificate seals.
