My Project

My students are in K4-5th grade and are curious and playful. They’re always ready to explore new art techniques in the art room.

This year, we need more light boxes to keep us on schedule.

Throughout the year, I plan lessons that usually last four weeks. I only see my classes once a week for 45 minutes, so it takes an average of 3-5 weeks to complete a lesson if nothing goes wrong. In most cases, there are field trips, national holidays, cold/flu season, and testing that interfere with the weeks, and students cannot keep up with the lesson when we are rushed with a deadline, such as an art show. I’m requesting enough light boxes for a group of four students to share. My students also need strong magnets to hold their paper in place. I’m also requesting wet wipes to clean the art tables at the end of class.
