I am an Adapted Physical Education teacher for students with disabilities at an elementary school. My objective is to allow my students to become independent and learn new skills. This project will help students not only in my class, but across all subject areas in multiple classrooms.
My students range from third-fifth grade and are very motivated to experience new things.
Our students are energetic and love to participate in movement activities. They are fascinated by new experiences and we would like to thank you in advance again for any and all contributions; my students are excited about getting active.
My Project
The iPad Mini can help to enhance movement lessons, teacher assessments and access music in a meaningful way. They will be able to follow instructional videos that teach them how to dance, move, and socialize in the classroom through the use of technology. It will also help teachers perform assessments to monitor progress of their students in the classroom.
My project is important, because for students with autism, the interactive tool on the iPad Mini has an abundance of software that can use to benefit learning in the classroom.
My students will find the styles of music they want to learn about, movement activities that interest them and much more. Thank you!
