Igniting Kindergarten & 1st Grade Writing and Math Practice!
Help me give my students the supplies they need to enhance their reading and math lessons. I need a few simple supplies that the students love to use and will also save us time.
My students live in a rural part of Montana. The community is very small. The population is around 200. There are no gas stations, and the closest grocery store is 10 miles away.
With limited job opportunities and a weak economic situation, life for our students can be tough, but they are strong and resilient.
In order for our students to succeed, I feel that my coworkers and I need to give them a strong education and the opportunity and motivation for them to thrive.
My Project
The dry erase dots will make the daunting and tedious act of writing more convenient for my young students because I will be able to place one at each student's table space and at my small group tables. I will also save time, space and distraction by being able to do away with using dry erase boards.
I work hard to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students so that they enjoy learning.
I find that making my students' educational lives enjoyable, the more they want to learn from me. I think my students will love to be able to have the convenience of taking out their markers to practice writing and math on a dry erase dot rather than having to get out a dry erase board, which often leads to them being distracted. I also need dry erase markers and erasers, both of which I pay for out of my own pocket, so any little bit helps.
