Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to beautify a previously unused space outside of the library. It would be a perfect space to set up a place to read and create a nice garden. I would also like to enlist my library aides to help maintain the garden and help it grow. I would offer the opportunity for students to paint river walks to add to the garden landscape.
These items allow me to expand the library space beyond the 4 walls of the school and into the outdoors.
I hope to maintain the landscape of the library garden for many years to come.
