My Students
I teach 4th Grade at an extremely high-poverty school in Middle Tennessee. I teach to many backgrounds including many ESL students, non-English speaking children, homeless students, and many that considered high-at-risk-students.
I want to provide opportunities in the classroom for creativity and freedom to play games inside.
We sometimes aren't able to go outside for recess. I want to offer many choices for students during the times we cannot go outside.
My Project
My students sometimes cannot go outside to play due to weather or other school events. We then have to play indoors. We already have GoNoodle for brain breaks, but my students enjoy a little more freedom in what they do with their recess time.
I want to provide different games and craft supplies for them to use during indoor recess.
I want them to build with Legos and blocks and use their creativity. Help me provide more opportunities for indoor recess time. I want these activities to be used for many years.
