I absolutely love to read books to my students. These books are ones that I have had my eye on for quite some time. It's not always easy to purchase items for our classrooms when funds are limited. I try to select quality texts that will allow me to include multiple standards. I have been able to use these books already with my third grade students to cover various literature and writing standards. They are also engaging texts for my students. The students were so excited to have a desk to call their own! \r\n The desks have made it possible for my students to have their own space to keep their books and supplies in order. Students are able to quickly and quietly retrieve their materials needed. This makes transitions flawless and maximizes our actual learning time. \r\n Using desks rather than tables for seating in my classroom has made it possible to arrange my classroom to maximize the space thus creating an incredible learning enviornment. However, let me take a few minutes to tell you how your donation has impacted my classroom. This particular project was for some flexible seating options in my upper elementary classroom. I was able to purchase multiple rolling chairs for my students. I have found that flexible seating works wonders for my students. By allowing rolling chairs and wobble stools, it gives my students an outlet for some movement while they learn.
