My Project

In anatomy and physiology, I teach content through a systematic approach. Next semester, my students will be learning about the nervous system. Not only will be learn about the three main organs of the nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and nerves), but we will also complete an investigation of the senses. I also like my students to have the opportunity to dissect a sheep brain. It is an excellent model to compare to the anatomy of the human brain. While dissecting the brain, students will learn about each lobe, the ventricles and passageways for cerebrospinal fluid, and even find a few cranial nerves.
