This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having snacks in class that don't cost them money is a great way to feed the body, while nurturing their minds. My students seem to always be hungry and not focused because they just need a little something to carry them over until lunch.

The snacks will get them through the day with a better attitude and a better focus during instruction.

Our school offers vending machines, however many of my students don't have money to purchase those items. I would just like to have an option for those students that come from low income families.
