Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My loving students come from low-income homes. Most of the school's students are non-English speaking students. About 80% of the school population receives free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast.

It would be so nice to come to school and have a nice learning environment.

My classroom atmosphere is warm and nurturing so that my students feel comfortable and safe.

Some of my students live in a shelter. Some of my students share their bedrooms with their whole family because several families live in a house that is supposed to be for one family.

My Project

These large dry erase boards are ideal for both whole- class and individual lessons, model writing, phonics and math instruction.

The dry erase number lines will be a mathematical tool that will enhance my student’s learning.

I have been teaching for 34 years and now I’m creating new lessons using hands on materials that my students can use instead of paper & pencil. The number line is a perfect way to introduce or reinforce numerical concepts.

Each piece is write & wipe , so my students can use them again and again.
