Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will use the Ninja Food Processor to puree foods, providing a wider range of foods my students can eat. Utilizing trays will provide my students the ability to independently feed themselves.

Many of my students have issues with textures, so providing Pureed Foods will allow them to eat a variety of foods increasing their selection and promoting a healthy diet.

I have one student who will only eat corn dogs, but has difficulty swallowing. His intake is extremely limited with his favorite food, so I want to combine small pieces of corn dog on his tray with some pureed foods that will increase his intake of nutritionally rich foods.

My students love sitting at my rolling chair, but one of the arms is broken and slight pressure makes it fall. Both my students and I will greatly appreciate a new chair.
