My Students

What makes my schools special is that we engage with technology daily beyond consumption. Students in my classrooms have an understanding of digital citizenship and computer science. They practice innovative design and global collaboration. What excites me about our lessons is when students feel empowered and creatively express themselves leveraging technology.

What excites me when I teach is having really great curriculum that supports the learning that I want to see happening in today's classrooms.

I strongly believe that good curriculum is half the battle of being a solid teacher. I need rich materials to engage my learners in high-level thinking in every content area, and I need to be on the forefront of pedagogy when it comes to Instructional Technology.

My Project

I will grow professionally with the ISTE Certification courses and portfolio work by deepening my understanding and proficiency with the ISTE Educator Standards. These standards include: Empowered Educator, Digital Citizenship, Universal Design for Learning, Digital Learning Environments, and Equitable Access and Accessibility.

This program is ideal for self-motivated learners, like me, who are eager to share their feedback and suggestions with ISTE.

Being that ISTE will lead this cohort to pilot some new and exciting changes, I will engage in deep learning and develop solid preparation for a successful portfolio submission. I want to participate in this remarkable learning journey to improve my influence in Educational Technology as a learner, leader, and coach!
