Fifth-grade students are bright and energetic.These scholars are at different academic levels and have a variety of interest levels. Recent research shows that Graphic Novels support reading comprehension for ALL ranges of readers.
Graphic novels allow students to access grade level content in exciting and engaging ways including high level discourse about complicated topics..
When the learning environment and resources fit student interest and readability level, scholars come in daily with a positive attitude, ready and willing to learn. Graphic Novels allow students to continue to grow and bloom as readers and writers!
