My Project

In my technology / STEM classroom, I have a variety of students with different sensory needs. I am looking for different types of toys and or items to help meet each and every one of my students' sensory needs. These toys will be used in our calm-down corner, where the students will be able to access these toys when they are feeling overwhelmed and need to take a break to reset.

Sensory toys can help students focus and help relieve some of their stress and anxiety.

Sensory bins and toys can help students work through difficult emotions throughout the day. Navigating emotions is a very important skill students need to learn.
