Help me give my students resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, printer paper, laminating sheets, binders, and tab dividers to create Reset binders for students to use.
At our school, we talk about resets. A reset is when a student needs a break in order to reestablish their ability to learn. Students request resets for several reasons; an argument with a friend, a challenging new lesson concept, a sour mood, or whenever they just feel like a break might be beneficial. The resets are never punitive, rather, the resets are used as a way to help students re-engage in learning.
Sometimes, taking a short break can give students a whole new outlook.
The requested TeachersPayTeachers gift card will be used to purchase resources to help our students to refocus. The paper, laminating sheets, and binders will be used to create resources for students to use during their resets. Our students need more support than usual after the rather unusual years they have had recently. Living through a pandemic has taken a toll and students need to be able to manage a whole new set of emotions.
