Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school would like to provide all students with weekly, outdoor assemblies, lunch on the lawn, field days, and other positive behavior supports.

Through interaction with peers and by providing engaging outside activities utilizing a PA system (that includes a Fender Passport Venue Series 2 subwoofer, a compact speaker stand, and a microphone kit) we will be encouraging students to attend school daily, nurturing kindness, and supporting students beyond reading, writing, and math to become all they can be!

Students receiving "Eagle Bucks" for making positive choices are entered into a raffle, names are drawn monthly at our outdoor assemblies and students receive prizes.

Outdoor activities will support growing the whole child and give students opportunities to positively interact with their peers, attend school regularly, and interact positively with their peers.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
