Help me give my students an iPad to use in reading centers which will help my students stay engaged while learning.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
The best word to describe my school is "family". Visitors often comment that when they arrive at our school, they feel like they are being welcomed into a family. The atmosphere is warm and upbeat. Within each classroom, every teacher strives to create a class family where students care about each other and work together to learn.
My students are enthusiastic, eager learners.
They are five and six year olds who are just starting their school experience and they love to learn. Kindergarten is an exciting time for them! They range in ability from struggling to learn sounds to being fluent readers. The students in my class are ethnically diverse. Nine different languages are spoken in the homes of my students. The families of my students are very supportive and are always willing to go the extra mile to help their children.
Teaching children to read is one of my greatest joys as a kindergarten teacher. My goal is to work with small groups of children to help them refine their reading skills. But I need a little help. My problem: What are the other students doing when I am not working with their group? During this time, I want the other students to be engaged and productive.
My idea is to have enough iPads to allow a group of students to work independently during one 15 minute rotation.
Will they be engaged? Yes! My students love to use technology and I will handpick engaging apps. Will they be productive? Yes, again! By using handpicked apps such as Reading Raven or Reading Eggs, my students will be increasing their reading skills while having fun. My goal is to have enough iPads for a whole group, so I am building a set one iPad at a time.
