I am the elementary Art teacher, I see every elementary student each week. My students are loving, kind, caring, and know how to share. They have enjoyed fiber arts, such as weaving when we have worked in fibers. I would like to introduce them to the art of Felting.
I would love to teach my students some of the "lost" art of felting.
I know that they would be excited to learn how to try and learn and different type of felting such as needle and wet. They will be excited to learn about where the wool comes from.
My Project
My students have enjoyed doing fiber arts in the past such as sewing and weaving. This year I plan on introducing them to the art of Felting. I will introduce my students the the history of felting.
They will have the opportunity the experience both needle felting and wet felting with the supplies.
These tools will be used to help teach them and give them the experience of this art form. The felting finger protector and needle felting tool will help the students with safety as they are learning. My student will enjoy the different colors of wool to choose from that will help them with their creativity.
