These new books will help my students grow not only in Art but in Reading as well. Some of these books will introduce the students to some new Artists. They will read and hear stories about the artists life such as Degas and the Little Dancer, Leonardo and the Flying Boy, or Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World. They will see art in these books that they might not every get to see. The students will see how art is all around, everywhere they look. They will learn through some to the book about how lines, shapes, and colors are used to create art. I am excited to show and read some of those books like: Lines that Wiggle, I'm not a Scribble, and My Many Coloured Days.
