My Project

This fall I will begin teaching in a school library that has not had a librarian in...five years? seven years? Nobody is quite sure. What is certain is that the books are older, faded, and lack excitement.

This set of twenty books will begin the process of updating the collection to reflect the lives of all students at our school.

It is important that all students feel welcome, included, and loved. My goal as the new librarian is to make sure that every child sees themselves in a book this year.
