This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It will help the students to be more creative, and they will develop their skills in the visual arts by painting different artworks from the past by different famous artists and painters. Through this, they will experience what a time period different from our own was like. Looking at art from the past from the different art periods can contribute to who we are as a people.

I want my students to paint like real artists.

When they were able to use the canvas and the actual materials that the artist used, they felt like they were the artists that they dreamed of being. I want them to experience the feeling of being a real artist.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
