I Can't See. Can We Use the Big Screen?

My students need a multimedia LCD projector so that everyone can see what we are discussing.

My students require a multimedia LCD projector so that each student can see the visuals displayed by the teacher and other students. It is difficult for 28 sixth graders to visually see and understand microorganisms and the vastness of space on a 19 inch TV from across the room.

We study the vastness of space and the minuscule world of microorganisms. This is difficult to illustrate to 28 students at one time. We have 6 microscopes but as the teacher I cannot ensure a student is seeing the paramecium on the slide. This can lead to misconceptions in the student's understanding of basic science concepts.

With a projector all of the students can see what we are discussing - even from across the room. Then students can take turns looking in the microscopes and will understand what they are seeing.

Your help will inspire my students this year and for years to come. They will be able to understand these difficult science concepts, without learning confusing misconceptions, and will acquire a life long love for science.
