This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are critical thinkers who want more! Some students have had limited exposure to persevering through problem-solving and working together. They need support to thrive. They are willing to reflect, ask questions, and make mistakes.

These avid investigators are learning how to navigate the world they were given.

Every day, these students show that learning, despite challenges, is possible. They may not have made their goals yet, but they continue to amaze me with their willingness to keep moving forward.

My Project

In our tech lab headphones are used and broken just as fast as pencils. Students who have not had the experience of navigating information in different ways are at disadvantage. You can help change this. We need headphones to focus and hear what we are doing. The headphones will be used with desktops and tablets. Students can not use the desktop computers with the volume up since it disrupts the learning environment . So often students have to stop and call out "I can't hear" help us have quality headphones so we can do quality work. Help me to give much needed headphones.
