My Project

Many of our students come from low-income, single-parent families. As with any school, we struggle to keep those learning online engaged and in attendance. My classroom will consist of students who choose or may best benefit from online schooling or online college courses. Students are not permitted cell phones during instructional time, yet cell phones have become a necessity for most students. Lockers are not a safe place to keep the phones, so students take them to class. If they get caught with one, the phone is taken away angering and upsetting the student, which interferes with learning.

I would like to provide a safe storage place for the student's phones, that not only gives the students access to their phones with permission, but also alleviates the risk of having phones taken away.

I believe purchasing this cell phone box would help the students feel secure without their phones while learning and remove the risk of having their phones taken away.

I can understand both sides, therefore am looking for a solution.
