My Project

My students are 3rd-5th graders who have special needs and require increased prompts and encouragement to communicate their wants and needs as well as engage in any type of activities.

My students learn and engage best when using fun and interesting materials.

I am requesting various sensory items like fidget toys, light up spinners, touch and feel books, bubble guns, and a microphone which will be used to encourage students to speak more, communicate better by requesting these fun toys, therefore encouraging them to improve their communication skills. These sensory items will also be used during sensory breaks and as rewards.

This project will help improve my students language ad communication skills which are necessary skills my students need to become as successful and independent as possible.
