My Students

I teach in a low-income rural school, and my students come from extremely diverse backgrounds. While this is sometimes challenging, it ultimately makes for a richer learning experience. I'd like to be able to provide a place for them to be creative and explore rather than just a place to bide their time.

I'd love to show them the learning experience that they so deeply deserve.

There are so many things that they haven't seen and so many things that they would love to do, and I would love to be able to provide them a strong and solid foundation on which to build their future.

My Project

Another dream project - a class set of Google Expeditions gear! This would allow my students to see the world from our own backyard.

It would be our very own magic carpet, allowing the kids to see the world through their own eyes.

To be able to walk with them through the Louvre, or take them on an adventure in Africa, or run with them on the Great Wall of China - these things would be a truly magical gift.

The great thing is that not only would this benefit my classroom, it's something that other teachers could use in their own lessons. I know that this is an expensive ask, but sometimes you just have to dream big.
