This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so much fun! They are 4 and 5 years old, learning and experiencing things for the very first time. As part of our Expanded Transitional Kindergarten Program, we try to teach the Academic Standards in a fun and memorable way. We teach life science with a hands-on approach.

The materials you provide us for this project will give us an experience for our students that will last a lifetime!

They will observe the cycle of a chicken, from eggs to hatching into baby chicks. The students will learn all about the chicken's life cycle; how long it takes, and what things are needed to survive after they hatch.

Please help us bring this life experience to our students. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will not only serve my class but the classes to come in the following years.
