Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are happy and eager to learn. Most of my students are English learners who work hard to not only learn new concepts, but they do it with a new language. Most of my students are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

My students always come with a smile on their face and can't wait to start the day.

They work together to make our classroom community strong and happy.

My Project

My students will be doing distance learning for the unforeseeable future and will be spending a lot of time on the computer in Zoom meetings with the class.

Ear buds with microphones will allow my students to hear me teach my lessons and be able to easily communicate with their peers as we have discussions about how we arrived at our answers and discussions about the books we read.

My students will need math manipulatives to get a better understanding of math concepts. They will need their own manipulatives at home to practice math. Games are a great way to learn math facts and using the maniplatives will help.
