My Students

My students are elementary school students who go to a charter school that emphasizes STEM learning. They come from 17 different towns. They are learning days, nights, and weekends depending on their parents' work schedules. We are a Special Education department. Therefore, we need to maintain a high quality education that is tailored to each student's individual educational program.

My Project

These airpods will assist me in attending student meetings, tuning out background noise, and focus on my students. I support students with special needs and am on the computer all day in zoom meetings. I will be able to focus on the children and families and minimize distractions. Remote learning while parenting your own children is no easy feat. In some cases, we are sharing with families that their children have a disability. That takes undivided attention as their is often a mourning process that goes with hearing that information. I want to give families a quality experience as we discuss their most important commodity - their children.
