My Project

Open-ended, hands-on learning materials enable students to showcase their creativity while challenging them to think outside the box. This school year, we have adopted a new curriculum with a strong emphasis on STEAM learning. Students are encouraged to consider design criteria, investigate materials, and problem-solve various ways to use the materials to reach a given goal.

My students love to investigate and explore classroom materials to discover ways to mix, match, build, and create.

The STEM kits will provide them with the materials they need to investigate how things work and think critically and creatively to build structures, simple machines, vehicles, etc. In addition, students can further explore their desire to investigate and create using the various mediums like playdough and mosaics.

All students learn in different ways. Providing a wide variety of materials to build and create with will increase interest for all of our learners, especially our kinesthetic and visual learners who love to see, touch, and feel the world around them.
