Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 12 wonderful students with special needs and incredible strengths! They are from an area where they may experience trauma and/or poverty, and I try to make sure our classroom is a warm and inviting place for each and every one of them. They work hard every day, no matter what their academic, social-emotional, and physical challenges are and they are always setting new goals and striving to be better! They are filled with energy, smiles, and growing minds! They are an amazing group of students, from all different backgrounds and cultures, and it is great to see what they bring into the classroom daily.

My Project

Please help me give my students what they need to stay safe and warm during this very challenging winter.

My students need warm clothes such as gloves to go play and socialize during recess.

They also need snacks to help them recharge and continue working to improve themselves and do their best work at all times. They also need masks and books to read about germs and learn more how they can stay healthy and safe.

Some of materials will also be used at home both from the students themselves and their families.
