My Project

Our students are so excited to delve into black history. Each student will select a figure that has influenced our world, our lives or their lives, and research and/or interview them.

Students will then create a display board, dress up as the influential person and participate in a living museum.

Parents and community members will attend our living museum where students will then have the opportunity to share about the influential person they are now transformed into.

Students will also read books and complete classroom challenges as they learn about influential role models. The incentives you provide will be given to students as they complete the various steps towards our living museum.
