Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th grade students have been learning and growing this past year. They will continue to change and grow into very amazing people. Throughout this journey many students lack proper hygiene skills and items at home. As they mature they need products and tools to be able to get ready each day to attend school. My students need items like tooth brushes, hair brush, soap, and woman sanitary items. Each of the hygiene kits provide those item separated for boys and the female hygiene kits for the girls.

I would like to provide each of them with a hygiene kit as they transition from elementary to middle school.

They may not have these items due to poverty in this community or hardships and my students would be very grateful to use these items each day. I am aware I am asking for a lot through these kits, my students and I will be grateful for anything.
