This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Working with children is very rewarding, and being able to improve the quality of life for the children is a big motivator for me and my co-workers. Donors Choose is making so many things possible for our school. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my project. I'm always looking for ways to supplement my needs through my health office. I'm finding that I'm spending a good amount of time and energy teaching and encouraging good hygiene.
Being able to provide hygiene products will enable the health office to educate children on hygiene while providing them the tools to carry out the steps at home.
I'm finding that I just don't have the funds available to purchase and stock items that are so important for our students. Socially and emotionally, poor hygiene can have such a negative effect; sadly, for many children, they lack the education and/or resources.
This project is so important for the health and well-being of my students. Keeping a clean, well-stocked health office will be easily attainable with your generous contribution!!
