Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working in a school with many socially- and economically-disadvantaged children and youth, it is imperative to provide them with basic needs such as clothing, underwear, socks, and personal hygiene products that they so desperately need. Ensuring that they have the basic essentials will help them learn better.

Our goal is to create a Clothing Pantry to remove the obstacles that impact school attendance and lower self esteem.

We are in need of these clothing and hygiene items to get this vision started. Students would be able to retrieve the needed items with discretion and dignity in the comfort and convenience of school.
