This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are planning a year-long PBL beautification project for our STEAM students so they can learn about working with their hands in the dirt to bring life to their concrete surroundings.

Our students come from a city school and don't always have access to learning about what it takes to grow their own flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

An indoor hydroponics growing system is the best way for our students to be able to learn about how things grow. It will also allow students to learn about the advantages of hydroponics, like using less water than traditional farming, being able to grow anywhere, and not needing large areas of farmland.
