Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In this post-pandemic era, it has become even more important for students to have access to fresh, clean, and filtered water. The majority of water fountains have been turned off. Not every student can afford to purchase their own hydro flasks. Students have to use disposable cups for the filtration systems at school, often wasting paper cups in the process. The systems are also only on the first floor of our three-story building.

Your donation will allow us to not only put Brita Water Filter Containers in our classrooms providing more access to more students but provide hydro flasks to students who would not otherwise be able to afford them.

Students will be able to access clean and filtered water from several classrooms around the school and will be able to stay hydrated on long school days.
