Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The planner is for students to become more organized and set goals for the remainder of the school year. Currently my school does not have traditional water fountains. The students either need a water bottle or a cup to drink water. I would like to provide the students who do not have access to a water with one. I am also eliminating waste with the use of less cups.

These art supplies and plant pots will give my students creative expression and give them an outlet to express themselves and to learn something new like painting and planting.

Lastly, I would like to give the 8th graders a gift during graduation and that is a Nation Junior Honor Society pin that they can keep. They can have that will remind them of all of their hard work that they have been able to maintain their academics and extracurricular activities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
