Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to try their best every day. I love how excited they get when they walk into PE, ready to move, play, and challenge themselves, even when skills are new or difficult. They thrive when learning feels active, fun, and connected to real-life movement.

Each resource in this project directly enhances that experience.

Numbered poly spots will help students follow directions, rotate through stations, and practice counting and sequencing while staying active.

Colored dodgeballs will be used for team games that build coordination, strategy, and cooperation while keeping students engaged and moving.

Chalk will allow us to create clear boundaries, game areas, and learning visuals that support both organization and cross-curricular connections like shapes, patterns, and directions.

A cooler will help improve hydration access so students can quickly refill water bottles, reducing downtime and keeping them safe and energized throughout activity time.

Together, these resources will help transform our PE space into an organized, high energy learning environment where students stay active, think critically, work together, and build lifelong healthy habits.
