My Project

Healthy students are better learners, and one of the simplest ways to help students feel their best is by keeping them hydrated throughout the school day.

My fifth-grade classroom is a busy place where students are constantly reading, writing, collaborating, and solving problems.

Many students arrive after recess, PE, or transitions feeling thirsty, and not every child enjoys drinking plain water. By creating a classroom hydration station with an ice maker, flavored water packets, and disposable cups, I can encourage students to drink more water while providing a refreshing way to stay hydrated.

Proper hydration supports concentration, energy, memory, and overall wellness. When students feel their best physically, they are better able to focus on instruction and participate in learning activities. A hydration station also creates a welcoming classroom environment where students know their needs matter.

The ice maker will provide cool water throughout the day, while the variety of sugar-free flavor packets offers students healthy options that make drinking water more enjoyable. Disposable cups ensure students have a clean, sanitary way to refill and stay hydrated whenever needed.

Your generosity will help create a classroom where students can take care of their health while staying engaged in learning. Every sip will be a reminder that someone believed in them and wanted them to have the tools they need to succeed.
