This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Most of my students come from low-income, high needs homes. They face challenges outside of the academic realm. 100% of students receive free breakfast and lunch from grants.
Since many students come from very difficult home lives, sports provide an opportunity to be a part of a family-like team.
We provide a stable environment where we can teach kids to work hard, develop a success mindset, and develop leadership skills to be successful not only in sports but in life.
The students are eager to learn and understand proper training methods to better themselves as athletes.
My Project
This project is for accessories that help improve online learning. The accessories will be used for both online learners and in person learners. The wireless keyboard will allow students to quickly and easily type daily fitness journals and written assignments for both Health and Physical Education class. We also are looking forward to having more access to the bluetooth device pens that will allow students to easily draw on their ipad, surface pro or chromebook touch screens. These resources will help give another way for our students to be more engaged and hands on, even while learning at home.
