This project requests Body Solid 12-Pair Vertical Dumbbell Rack and Set, and one Fitness Wall/Medicine Ball Rack. Student-athletes will use the dumbbells as part of our weight training program we implemented for track and field. Many of our athletes are new to lifting weights so we need the lighter weights to emphasize proper technique. So far, the athletes have been excited about lifting weights. However, they spend a lot of time waiting around for weights since we only have one set of 5s and 10s for 40+ kids. Other student-athletes in other sports are also in the weight room waiting for a turn. We are also in need of a medicine ball rack to store the medicine balls that we already have.
