Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fifth grade students are bright, creative, and curious. They are full of personality and potential. They want to know more... about everything! It's so exciting coming into the classroom each day and knowing that this may be the day for that one student that the lightbulb will come on and "it" will finally CLICK! Being able to be a part of that is priceless.

It is amazing to see what kids can do when we give them the tools to succeed.

My fifth graders are at such an important age where their personalities form and they learn important concepts that they will carry with them throughout their lives. As their teacher, I aim to equip them to set and reach high goals for success in the future.

My Project

I want to give my students the tools to succeed while learning at school and at home. In this project, I want to provide things like art supplies and dry erase markers for the extensive work we do using whiteboards.

Since we have students tuning in on virtual learning platforms while others are in the room, I want to help all students to have access.

Whiteboards are essential to this work, and with that, dry erase markers and erasers are so important!
