This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a room full of 21 students that are eager to learn and experience new things in the classroom. They are inquisitive and enjoy learning new things about the world. My students come from many different backgrounds and require different ways of learning.
As their teacher I want so much for them to have the experiences and learning opportunities that they require to grow, change and learn about the world around them.
I look forward to seeing how my students grow throughout the year!
My Project
These requested items will help my eager to learn students develop their educational needs in our classroom. I know they will be so appreciative of these resources that we have been doing without since Hurricane Florence devastated our classroom and materials. These items will be of great use to my inquisitive 21 second graders! We look forward to being able to utilize these great educational materials in our classroom together.
The requested Guided Reading Collection books will greatly help us replenish some of the lost reading materials that were ruined in the flood.
Other items needed include a pencil sharpener, Go To Books, reusable pockets, comfy floor seating, and a space saving paper center. With your help we can have additional resources to help us grow!
