Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have an extended school day and lunch comes a little early. By the end of the day, students are generally hungry and could use a snack.

Help me provide snacks for students to keep the work flowing.

Students will have both sweet and healthy snacks. I asked for cookies, chips, fruit snacks, and granola bars to provide them with variety. I also feel that when students are not worried about things like eating and drinking they focus on their school work. This is also helpful to the culture of the classroom, not all students have snacks they can bring to school.
