The materials and supplies that I am requesting already have a student's name on them. Students need these materials so that everyone's learning is maximized in the classroom. Pencil holders will be used by students to avoid any playing around and dropping pencils. Copying paper is to make copies of materials for phonics, homework, and other books we will have to make in the classroom. Composition notebooks will be used for students journal writing to help them learn how to express themselves. The laminator is one of the most important. A lot of anchor charts and supplies are needed and by laminating I can make one set for my three classes and avoid continually printing paper. Also, this helps ensure supplies last throughout the year. A lot of parents are unable to continually provide supplies and I would hate to have to ask parents for things I know they are unable to provide.
