My Project

"Miss, do you have anything to eat?" This is a recurrent question asked in my large, diverse, urban classroom. Past generous donations from the DonorsChoose community, my answer was always no. However, over the last two years, DonorsChoose has allowed me to provide instant noodle soups (just add boiled water, as we do not have microwaves in our classrooms) for students every day. With any consumable, our stocks have dried up, and since I have no doubt that these needs will be ongoing, I am hoping to restock for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Help me provide quick, nourishing noodle soups for my incoming junior students.

Food insecurity is an ongoing problem nationwide, and although a cup of noodles doesn't fit the problem, I know that every single cup helps!
