Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in the dual language program, learning both English and Spanish. They work very hard in everything they do. The snack items I am requesting will help keep my students regulated and engaged during our reading block. The snacks I bring in usually don't last very long and it's a challenge having options for them most days. All students receive free or reduced lunch, so it is difficult for them to bring in their own healthy snack.

My goal for this project is to be able to give my students a healthy snack when they are hungry and dysregulated.

This will allow them to be more successful in class.
